The WWCCN Executive Director was one of the trainees in the African Feminist Academy on Climate Justice (AFACJ) Cohort 3, hosted by FEMNET. This transformative convening brought together phenomenal women from across the continent to amplify their voices in shaping a feminist just transition. Participants explored how climate finance, reparative justice, and gender-responsive policies and actions can be reimagined to center the lived realities of African women and girls, particularly those experiencing intersecting vulnerabilities as a result of climate change.
